So, to the far left, does 'powerful conservative woman' automatically equal 'crazy'?

Seems that every time a very successful conservative woman reaches national prominence, the lefties immediately label them as stupid, crazy or both- even though their records of achievement scream that just the opposite is true. We saw that with Sarah Palin, and now with Michelle Bachmann. Is that all the left has anymore? They cannot argue policy? Is it just wall to wall personal attacks from here on out? What does this say about the maturity level of the American left?
