Teenagers, why do you date when it is irrational to do so?

If building stuff and moving forward is what makes you happy then you should tell your mom that. However, do not forget why people want to be "successful" in life. People pursue success in hopes that they can live a happy life. If you spend all of your time working, you defeat that purpose.
