Am I weird.....is this normal to feel this?

you aren't weird or abnormal because you are right. there is a difference in the maturity levels of the ages you are talking about. i am the same age as you and have the same issues. its not that we are so old that we know everything, its just that we have a higher comfort level with those our own age.
