What should I expect from an intro to Astronomy class?

Nearly all intro astronomy courses (and I've taught them at three different colleges) have no math to speak of beyond learning how to apply Kepler's third law, and maybe recognizing Newton's. Usually you will get a brief history of astronomy going back to Thales, some stuff on the space program, types of telescopes and how they work, and a survey of the Solar System, star types, clusters and galaxies.
